Here is some humorous writing written today by Phoebe about her experience of winning gold at the Olympics:
Triathlete Phoebe Young has won a gold medal for the New Zealand Team. The match had been presented in Beijing.
Phoebe swam 3 cm, cycled 15 cm and ran 10 cm. She went so fast that she broke the world record by 15 seconds!

Mum and Dad felt that if only the cycling had been 12cm she would have broken the record by 20 milliseconds!!! The parents said "Seeing the gold medal around our daughter's neck made us glow with pride."
